“FLOORS” is a short film I created in June 2023 in collaboration with Epidemic Sound.
Epidemic Sound reached out to me and challenged me to make a 3 minute short film in 3 days and I accepted. Unfortunately I failed the challenge in length and the film ended up more than double in time, however that was a cost I was willing to pay in order to tell the story I had crafted.
The film tells the story of an obsessive floor maker who wants to change his career because his job is making him go crazy.
The film was created by me with assistance by Melanie Bischof and stars actor Randall Galera as the floor maker.
Behind the scenes:
In addition to the film I produced a 20+ minute long behind the scenes video that breaks down the process from start to finish. Both the film and the behind the scenes video were published on Epidemic Sound’s YouTube channel.
